‘Seven Everything’ is an ongoing collaboration between designer and stylist Anna Lewis with fashion photographer Elliot Davies. They endeavour to explore the arcane with an effortless signature style with surreal, and storytelling connotation. Imagery often undermines the viewer’s sense of normality through the use of its scene and objects, carefully executed with obscurity, thus creating a feeling of beauty and stillness amidst chaos.

Pica Pica

‘Pica Pica’, Latin for magpie, is set within a semi derelict mansion house, which retains an eerie sensuality heavily weighted in its own history. The aesthetic of decay and a faded grandeur evokes a passing of time. The images play with surreal fairytale and ghost like connotations with a nod to Alice in wonderland. Superstitions and amuletic associations are linked with the magpie and the pearl and looks at very contrasting views within different cultures. This can mean that these objects can be unlucky and sorrowful or symbolic of good fortune and protection from evil. Different objects are given very different meanings and it is the reaction and influence on behavior invoked by them that interests me.
